No travel advised on Highway 87 south of Park Rapids – Park Rapids Enterprise


The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol announced “no travel advised” on Hwy. 87 from Hwy. 71 to Hwy. 64 in Hubbard County on Tuesday, Feb. 22 morning due to high winds and blowing snow causing low visibility.
According to a news release, snowplows will continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.

“No travel advised” means that the roadway has deteriorated and/or visibility has been reduced to the point that it is very dangerous to travel.
